CASE

The 4th-semester project is a Turkey contract of a multistorey, social housing with the commercial unit located at the ground level of the building. The client’s requirements were to build a 4-5 storey building with the uppermost storey as penthouse residences with lightweight construction. Moreover, the client’s wishes to have 2m2  s, where storage space for each apartment in the basement. Load-bearing walls and floor decks should be made of prefabricated concrete elements. Stairs, landings, and balconies should be made out of prefabricated concrete. The penthouse should be made of lightweight construction. 
The building had to be designed as a low-energy building class 2018 according to building regulations 2018. The client wishes to implement sustainable measures in the multi-story, social housing
